ABOUT US

Reasons for Being a Member

Accounting firms face a number of critical issues. These include:

  • how to compete more effectively for clients
  • how to attract and retain quality staff
  • how to increase profits
  • how to meet the increasing service needs of clients
  • how to ensure the continued operation of the firm

exists to help its members address these issues.

Building a network of resources is key to successfully dealing with these issues. With more than 80 member firms in North America and over 160 affiliated firms around the world, helps members create personal contacts, share ideas, and use this information to deal with the kinds of problems they face every day.

Because members do not compete for clients, they can openly share detailed information on how the firms are managed. This kind of information is available nowhere else. In order to facilitate the development of close relationships, the association holds regular conferences and roundtable meetings. Members also participate in conference calls, e-mail groups and other events.

When a firm joins , it immediately expands the resources it has available to make it more successful.

Some of the reasons for becoming a member of include:

  • Improved management and administration
    • Aid in reaching profitability goals
    • Maximization of the value of the firm
    • Improved ability to attract, retain, and motivate quality staff
    • Assistance in improving and expanding services to clients
    • Growth in fee revenue and client base
  • Improve ability to compete with any local, regional or national firm in your area. (The competition for your "good" clients will be coming more and more from large regional firms and members of accounting firm associations that have the resources to be tough competition.)
  • Ability to differentiate and distance your firm from the "other" competition.
  • Ability to operate, manage and market more effectively and profitably.
  • Enjoy the benefits of an international firm without the high overhead, loss of identity or management control, the headaches of worrying about problems in other offices, and without adding staff.
  • Obtain the entrepreneurial advantage of helping clients succeed by delivering a broad array of important services.
  • Membership will demonstrate to clients and staff that your firm is committed to providing world class service.
  • will only have one firm in your geographic area.
